福澤諭吉（ふくざわゆきち）は幕末から明治期の日本の啓蒙思想家、教育家。慶應義塾の創設者。著名な作品に『学問のすすめ』などが挙げられる。
福澤氏は商法講習所や伝染病研究所などの設立にも貢献し、『時事新報』を創刊した。また東京学士会院初代会長も務めた。その業績により「明治六大教育家」と称される。昭和59年（1984年）11月1日より日本銀行券一万円紙幣の肖像として採用され、平成16年（2004年）に改刷された際にも引き継がれたが、令和6年（2024年）7月3日に発行された新紙幣には渋沢栄一が描かれている。
