Mystery writer. Born in Dazaifu City, Fukuoka Prefecture. After attending Kyoto University's Faculty of Law, he aspired to be a musician, but was convinced that ``novels were a better fit for my personality,'' so he continued writing while working at his family's temple. As a result, in 2011, ``The Case Files of Coffee Shop Talleyrand: If I Met You Again, I'd Have Coffee You Brewed'' was selected as a finalist for the 10th ``This Mystery Is Amazing!'' Grand Prize.
