Yoshifumi Tawara is a Japanese social activist. Born in 1941, passed away in 2021. He has been active in influencing textbooks. He previously served as the executive director of ``Children and Textbook Nationwide Net 21'' and the secretary general of the Japan-North Korea Association.
He graduated from the Department of Law, Faculty of Law, Chuo University in 1964 and joined Shinko Shuppansha Keirinkan. In 1965, we became a supporting member of the Saburo Ienaga Textbook Trial. He also served as a labor union executive.
