漫画家、元お笑い芸人。大阪府枚方市出身。野球部に所属した高校時代から、お笑い芸人「TMラバーズ」を結成し、M-1グランプリに出場。その後はアルバイトをしていたが、知人の勧めで漫画家を目指すようになる。古泉智浩の漫画のカルチャースクールに参加し、弟子入りしたことで漫画制作の修行を始める。
初めてヤンマガに持ち込んだ作品では酷評を受けるが、佐藤秀峰主催のコンテストで佳作に選ばれ、その作品はスピリッツに掲載された。その後もボツが続いたものの、のちの連載作品となる『野球部のヒロコせんせい』の元になった作品が気に入られ、初めて雑誌に掲載されることとなった。
漫画家としては2013年に月刊!スピリッツで読み切り作を発表しデビュー。その後、2014年より『野球部のヒロコせんせい』を連載開始。『てのひらにアイを！』も小学館のマンガアプリで閲覧数2400万を超える人気作となった。
週刊漫画ゴラクで連載した『高嶺のハナさん』は、実写ドラマ化作品として2021年4月よりBSテレビ東京ほかで放送された。また、コミックDAYSで連載された『アカイリンゴ』も2023年1月より朝日放送テレビで実写ドラマとして放送された。
