English Summary
“A woman who conveyed the heart of a kimono shop”
Q: What kind of person was Miyoko Ito?
This person is truly an amazing person. Miyoko Ito, born in Nagoya in 1925, was the third-generation president of the kimono store Akanoren. I learned the kimono trade at home from a young age, and after my older brother died of illness, I took over the responsibility from my parents and took over the business of the store. Even after graduating from school, I continued to work hard, transporting goods with my sister. Although he lost his shop and house to air raids during the war, he overcame that and reopened his shop.
Q: What beliefs did Miyoko Ito have?
This person believed in ``creating a store from the perspective of the buyer,'' and visited the store every month to operate the store from the customer's perspective. There are also stories of people selling products at low prices to help disaster-stricken areas during difficult times. I think he was a hard worker and had a heart for working for others.
Q: What kind of life did Miyoko Ito lead?
This person overcame hardships, continued to protect the store, and lived a life in which he helped many people. It was difficult for his family and he broke his heart many times, but he always tried his best to stay positive. Perhaps that strong spirit is still being passed down to us today.
