Susumu Sakurai is a Japanese scientist and science navigator. Originally from Higashine City, Yamagata Prefecture, he serves as the representative director of sakurAi Science Factory Co., Ltd.
After graduating from the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, Tokyo Institute of Technology, I dropped out of the doctoral program. After that, I taught as a preparatory school teacher and conducted educational activities in mathematics and physics. He has been working as a science navigator since 2000, and currently serves as a fellow at the Center for World Civilizations, Tokyo Institute of Technology.
