English Summary
**Catchphrase**
"A golf instructor who emphasizes mental strength, etching simplicity into the heart"
Manabu Nakai is a Japanese professional golf coach. Born on April 14, 1972 in Toyonaka City, Osaka Prefecture.
He first encountered golf when he was in elementary school, and although he started seriously after that, he only had a short amount of time to practice due to the high cost of golf course fees at the time, but he still has a track record of hitting a 73 on his fifth round. After entering high school, he also participated in the Japan Junior Championships.
He moved to California in July 1992, and while studying at a community college, joined the golf club and became active. However, when I received professional instruction during my third year of university, I was disappointed because all I was told was, ``You just need to think about the rhythm.''
From there, I started studying on my own, and while receiving advice from those around me, I started aiming for a career in coaching. Unable to obtain permanent residency in the United States, he gave up on turning professional in the United States and returned to Japan in 1997. After that, he started working as a professional coach in 2003.
Manabu Nakai has appeared on numerous golf programs. He has also written many books.
