After that, a collection of short stories ``Five Coffins'' was published by Tokyo Sogensha, and ``Blind Spots of Perversion'' was published by the same company as the first book in ``Tetsuya Ayukawa and the Thirteen Mysteries.'' Although this work was shortlisted for the Edogawa Ranpo Award, it was not selected. In 1995, he won the 48th Japan Mystery Writers Association Award for the novel ``Classroom of Silence'' published by Hayakawa Shobo, and is known as a writer who frequently uses narrative tricks.
