Yoshiaki Ando is a Japanese novelist and mystery writer. He is originally from Shizuoka Prefecture. In 1994, he won the Japan Mystery Suspense Award for ``The Brown Target''. As a result of his writing career, in 2000 he won the Horror Suspense Award Special Award for ``Kishimojin'' and in 2010 he won the Japan Mystery Writers Association Award in the short story category for ``Zuikan''.
