English Summary
**"Captivated readers with heart-tugging tricks"**
Japanese novelist and mystery writer. Born in Hiroshima Prefecture. His representative work is the ``Solving Mysteries After Dinner'' series. He is known as an ``up-and-coming author of serious mysteries with humorous humor''.
I started writing novels by chance. It all started when I was living alone and was having trouble finding the books I wanted to read. He decided to try writing one himself. After that, he often returns to his hometown in Kumamoto Prefecture, where he often holds talk shows and autograph sessions.
Many of his books are set in the western suburbs of Tokyo, but because he is a fan of the Hiroshima Toyo Carp, he also wrote a series of novels called ``I Love Baseball Too Much.''
