中華人民共和国の江蘇省南京市で生まれ育つ。1986年に金陵科技学院日本語学科卒業し、愛知大学法経学部を経て、名古屋大学大学院経済学研究科修士課程を修了。1994年から富士通総研に所属し、国際経済研究所の主席研究員や客員研究員などを歴任。
教育研究機関では、浙江大学客員教授（1999-2005）、慶應義塾大学グローバルセキュリティ研究所客員研究員（2001-2005）を務めている。2012年からは広島経済大学特別客員教授および静岡県立大学グローバル地域センター特任教授を務める。
人物
日本語や英語に堪能であり、日本語検定1級、ケンブリッジ大学英語検定機構などの資格を持つ。2018年に樫山純三賞が授与された。

Graduated from Kinryo Institute of Science and Technology's Japanese Department in 1986, studied at Aichi University's Faculty of Law and Economics, and completed a master's program at Nagoya University's Graduate School of Economics. He has been a member of Fujitsu Research Institute since 1994, and has held positions such as chief researcher and visiting researcher at the Institute of International Economics.
At educational and research institutions, he served as a visiting professor at Zhejiang University (1999-2005) and a visiting researcher at Keio University's Institute for Global Security (2001-2005). Since 2012, he has served as a special visiting professor at Hiroshima University of Economics and a specially appointed professor at the University of Shizuoka's Global Regional Center.
