Kai Kajitani is a Japanese economist. Born on April 22, 1970 in Osaka Prefecture. Graduated from Kobe University and obtained a doctorate (economics). After that, while focusing on related research, he taught at Kobe Gakuin University and his alma mater, Kobe University. Currently, he is majoring in modern Chinese economic theory at Kobe University's graduate school.
In 2013, he received the Masayoshi Ohira Memorial Prize for ``Modern China's Fiscal and Financial System''.
