**中古文学研究の先駆者 三田村雅子**
国文学者で、専門は中古文学、特に『源氏物語』と『枕草子』。フェリス女学院大学名誉教授として活躍した。
三田村雅子は、1967年に東京都で生まれた。1971年に早稲田大学第一文学部国文科を卒業し、博士課程単位取得修了後、1989年にフェリス女学院大学文学部助教授に就任する。2005年にはフェリス女学院大学付属図書館長を務め、2009年に上智大学文学部教授に着任した。
研究活動のほか、NHK教育テレビの「NHK高校講座 古典への招待」で、1983年から1995年にわたって講師をつとめた。2025年1月には歌会始「召人」となる予定。
著書に、『枕草子 表現の論理』『源氏物語 感覚の論理』『源氏物語 物語空間を読む』などがある。また、共著・編著として、『枕草子 日本文学研究資料新集』『源氏物語絵巻の謎を読み解く』などが知られる。

A scholar of Japanese literature, his specialty is second-hand literature, especially The Tale of Genji and The Pillow Book. He was active as a professor emeritus at Ferris University.
Masako Mitamura was born in Tokyo in 1967. Graduated from the Department of Japanese Literature, Faculty of Letters, Waseda University in 1971, and after completing the doctoral course, became an assistant professor in the Faculty of Letters, Ferris University in 1989. In 2005, he served as the director of the Ferris University Library, and in 2009 he became a professor in the Faculty of Letters, Sophia University.
In addition to his research activities, he served as a lecturer on NHK Educational Television's ``NHK High School Lecture: Invitation to the Classics'' from 1983 to 1995. In January 2025, he is scheduled to become a member of the singing group.
