Toru Hosaka is a Japanese educational psychologist and professor emeritus at Chiba University. After graduating from the University of Tokyo's Faculty of Education in educational psychology in 1980, he worked as an assistant at the Faculty of Education, the University of Tokyo, and as a lecturer at the Faculty of Education, Chiba University, before becoming a professor.
