**Introduction**

Graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan Komatsugawa High School and the Department of Drama, Faculty of Letters, Waseda University. After that, he gained experience as a freelance writer and entered the production of TV programs. In 1993, he branched out into film production, starting with ``She's Rain.'' Her main works include ``Yukie'' (1998), ``Origami'' (2001), and ``Leonie'' (2010), which depict elderly women with Alzheimer's disease and caregiving issues.
