English Summary
**"From a motorcycle gang to a manga artist"**
Tsutomu Takahashi is a Japanese manga artist. He made his debut in 1989 and is known for his masterpieces ``Jinmine-Shin'' and ``Sky High.''
He formed a punk band when he was a student, but dropped out of high school and started drawing manga. He started working on manga after being impressed by Kaiji Kawaguchi's work, and although his first work, ``GOTA VOICE,'' was criticized badly, he was confident enough to submit it.
Many of his representative works have been serialized in Young Jump and Afternoon, and the Sky High series has also been made into a TV drama and a movie directed by Ryuhei Kitamura. He also co-directed the original film "Strawberry Shards."
He was friends with the gag manga artist Ohinata Gou, and they formed a band together. In addition, for the one-shot ``Tenshi no Wakamae'', Ohinata wrote the original story and was in charge of the illustrations.
He creates his works using his own production system without using an assistant. Use brush pens and ballpoint pens, and use digital technology to save time. Drafting and finishing are done quickly.
