蛯名正義は2018年に史上4人目のJRA通算2500勝を達成し、2021年度の新規調教師免許試験に合格。同年2月28日をもって騎手を引退し翌3月1日より調教師に転身する。

After graduating from horse racing school, he made his debut as a jockey, and his first ride was on March 1st of the same year, in the new horse race of the 5th race at Nakayama Racecourse, where he rode the popular No. 14 Eiger Turf and lost to a popular 14th place. However, on April 12 of the same year, he won his first victory riding the second-popular Dyna Passion in an undefeated race at Nakayama. After that, he won 30 races and won the Rookie Jockey Award.
In 2018, Masayoshi Ebina became the fourth person in JRA history to achieve a total of 2,500 wins and passed the 2021 new trainer license exam. He retired as a jockey on February 28th of the same year and became a trainer on March 1st of the following year.
