English Summary
**"Having the power to discover new light in the world of manga"**
Yuji Kaku is a Japanese manga artist and editor born in 1984. He has loved drawing manga since he was a child, and was active in a puppetry club during his university days. However, he no longer believed that he could become a manga artist himself, so he became a manga editor. After that, I took the manga to many publishers, and as I received positive feedback from three of them, I started working at Shueisha with the aim of serializing it.
Yuji Kaku won an honorable mention at the 14th SQ Comic Grand Prix, and his work ``Omoide Customs'' was published in Jump SQ.II. He also serialized "FANTASMA" and transferred to Jump SQ.19 in 2014.
He became Tatsuki Fujimoto's assistant and later serialized "Jigoku Raku", which became a popular work on Shonen Jump+. An exhibition of original paintings was also held.
Yuji Kaku is the cousin of singer and entertainer Tsuyoshi Tsuruno, and he also teaches sword fighting in Jigoku Raku. Also, when he became an assistant, he was worried about his own ability as a writer, but because his hobbies matched with Fujimoto's, he gained confidence.
Yuuji Kaku's hobby is watching movies, and his specialty is cooking. My favorite manga and authors include Shigeru Mizuki and Junji Ito.
