Kazushi Asami is a Japanese novelist and mystery writer. Born in Chiba Prefecture. Graduated from the Department of Japanese Literature, Faculty of Letters, Rikkyo University. In 2006, he won the 16th Ayukawa Tetsuya Prize for ``The Coffin of Vesalius'' and made his debut as a novelist. He is a member of the Japan Writers Association and the Authentic Mystery Writers Club.
