Japanese female manga artist. Graduated from Hokkaido University of Education, Department of Fine Arts. He used to work as an editorial designer at a design company, but he wanted to create something that incorporated all of his ideas, so he started producing comics. Won the Afternoon Four Seasons Award in the summer of 2006 and debuted in Monthly Afternoon Magazine (Kodansha). His first full-fledged manga, ``Mushi to Uta,'' was recognized, and he has since published his works using the magazine as his main medium.
