English Summary
**Wataru Nakamura's quote**: The only thing you can definitely achieve in life is ``because you and your ideas are important.''
**Introduction**
Wataru Nakamura, who is active as a novelist, lyricist, music producer, and businessman, is from Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture. From his experience as a band member, he began to like creating lyrics and songs. He left the company at the age of 30 and devoted himself to writing. At first, I thought I would focus on writing novels, but after that I began to change my life, teaching at a cram school in my spare time, moving to a new house, etc. Most of the cover illustrations for his books are by his close friend, Kazutaka Miyao, and for some of his works, he also does illustrations for the chapter doors and inside the works. He compares the characters he draws to "troupe members."
**Q&A**
Q: What did you do?
Because you and your thoughts are important.
Q: What are your famous works?
“Rerekisho” and “Guru Mawaru Slide” are my representative works. The story is based on Nakamura's own experiences, and includes the story of students starting music after entering high school, spending several months forming a band, purchasing guitars at a pawn shop, and practicing with the members in a storehouse. He is also in charge of writing the lyrics for this work.
