Toshio Suzuki is a Japanese film producer and editor. Chairman and Representative Director of Studio Ghibli Inc., Vice Chairman of the Tokuma Memorial Animation Cultural Foundation. The history is stated as follows.
* Graduated from Keio University Faculty of Letters majoring in Sociology after attending Nagoya City Kinjo Elementary School and Tokai Junior and Senior High School.
* Experienced writing and many part-time jobs since his university days, and after joining Tokuma Shoten, he became the founding editor-in-chief of ``Animage'' and featured Hayao Miyazaki for the first time in the anime magazine ``Animage.'' He also suggested that he plan a movie in collaboration with Miyazaki and serialize the manga based on it. Later, when it was decided that the same work would be made into a movie, he persuaded Isao Takahata and supported the production of ``Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind.''
