Toshitaka Hidaka (1930-2009) was a Japanese animal behaviorist. Professor emeritus at Kyoto University. Professor Emeritus of the Institute for Global Environmental Studies. He served as the president of the Japanese Entomological Society and the Japanese Society of Animal Behavior.
