彼の代表的な作品は「ザ・ドリフターズ」であり、これが彼の有名な作品の一つである。志村けんは2020年に死去し、パンデミック初期だった新型コロナウイルス感染症（COVID-19）による肺炎のためであった。

Ken Shimura was a Japanese comedian, guitarist, actor, and host. A member of The Drifters and an honorary citizen of Higashimurayama City. Also, after working for Watanabe Productions, he belonged to Izawa Office.
Ken Shimura made his debut in the entertainment industry in 1968 and was active as a member of the Drifters. He had experience working part-time jobs near his home to earn some pocket money, and thought that there was no other path than being a comedian, and was drawn to and influenced by his rebellious spirit.
His representative work is ``The Drifters'', which is one of his famous works. Ken Shimura passed away in 2020 due to pneumonia caused by the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) at the beginning of the pandemic.
