**「生命保険の革新をもたらすリーダー」**
出口治明は、日本の実業家、ライフネット生命保険株式会社創業者であり、立命館アジア太平洋大学元学長。三重県生まれ。
出身校は、三重県立上野高等学校、京都大学法学部を卒業し、1972年（昭和47年）に日本生命保険相互会社に入社。経営企画や財務企画部などに所属し、金融制度改革・保険業法の改正にも従事。
2006年（平成18年）、58歳で同社を退職後、ライフネット生命保険株式会社を創業し、代表取締役社長に就任。2013年（平成25年）には社長職を岩瀬大輔に譲り、代表取締役会長に就任した。

Haruaki Deguchi is a Japanese businessman, founder of Lifenet Life Insurance Co., Ltd., and former president of Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University. Born in Mie Prefecture.
Graduated from Mie Prefectural Ueno High School and Kyoto University Faculty of Law, and joined Nippon Life Insurance Company in 1972. Belongs to the corporate planning and financial planning departments, and is also engaged in financial system reform and insurance business law revisions.
