**歴史ミステリーの巨匠、井沢元彦**
推理小説家、作家。代表的な作品は「猿丸幻視行」や「逆説の日本史」です。
東京都立千歳高等学校を経て、早稲田大学法学部卒業。TBS報道局記者時代に『猿丸幻視行』で第26回江戸川乱歩賞を受賞。1985年にTBSを退職して、以降は作家に専念。

Graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan Chitose High School and Waseda University Faculty of Law. While he was a reporter at the TBS news bureau, he won the 26th Edogawa Ranpo Award for ``Sarumaru Genjou''. After retiring from TBS in 1985, he devoted himself to writing.
He is a member of the Japan Mystery Writers Association and the Japan Science Fiction Writers Club.
