**Introduction**
Miki Okuda is an illustrator and painter from Tokyo. After graduating from Toyo Art School's Graphic Design Department, he began working as an illustrator in 1990. He uses his fantastical style to draw two styles: Western fantasy paintings and Japanese-style paintings. Many of his works are based on spiritual and Buddhist paintings, and he also creates bindings for fantasy novels, oracle card illustrations, and corporate calendars. In 2017, he won the 7th Creative Expression Exhibition Takashi Kitami Award. In addition, at the CARTA Awards sponsored by the International Tarot Foundation held in 2022, he won runner-up in the overseas version of the "Japanese Esoteric Buddhism Cards" jury category.
