**「日本競馬界に新時代を拓いた名牝の先駆者」**
第二メルボルン（1902年 - 1918年）は、日本で活躍した競走馬、繁殖牝馬。デビュー当初の競走馬名はイスズであったが、馬主が変わった際に改名された。日本レース・クラブによってオーストラリアから輸入され、1906年に根岸競馬場で初勝利を収めた。帝室御賞典（根岸）と横浜ダービー（横浜）の優勝者であり、明治時代の代表的な豪州産馬の一つであった。
日本で活躍した競走馬、繁殖牝馬。
レデーヴオーやペガサスに敗れるなど負けが込むようになった。1910年以降は東京で登録されなかったが、1911年に東京のブック（登録馬名簿）上で久々に出現した。老齢ながら英気が旺盛であったと紹介されている。
