Japanese actress and essayist. Born in Katsushika Ward, Tokyo. He made his debut in 1979 with ``3-year B-gumi Kinpachi Sensei'' and first starred in 1982 with ``Tenshosei'' directed by Nobuhiko Obayashi. After that, she became popular as a unique actress, playing the role of Kimie, the third daughter in the ``Yappari Neko ga Suki'' series. In 2014, she won the 57th Blue Ribbon Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Paper Moon.
