Shoko Amano is a Japanese mystery novelist. Born in Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture. Graduated from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Department of German. After that, I studied as a first-year student at Leistaff Novel School. In 2005, she made her debut in ``Metropolitan Police Department Ghost Section''. In this series, the main character interviews the ghost of a crime victim.
Also popular is the ``Yorozu Fortune-teller Onmyo-ya series,'' in which a boy duo of a sharp-tongued onmyoji and a devil fox slowly solves incidents in the town. He is a member of the Japan Writers Association and has been a member of the Japan Science Fiction Writers Club since June 2024.
