English Summary
**A weekly staple that talks about the history of baseball! **
Weekly Baseball is a weekly baseball magazine founded in 1946. The April 16, 1958 issue was first published, and the back issues were carried over from the previous baseball magazine. Many weekly magazines were being published during this period, and it was created when Shigeo Nagashima, who was active in the Tokyo Six Universities Baseball League, turned professional. The cover of the first issue was decorated with a photo of Tatsuro Hirooka, who is also active at the Tokyo Six Universities and plays for the Giants' Sanyuma team.
Initially, articles focused on the Giants, but from 1965, the Giants won nine consecutive championships and became the driving force behind Japanese professional baseball, and Weekly Weekly also followed that trend. Articles that included the content of the articles were also highly evaluated, and the players and coaches had great trust in them.
Currently, it is released every Wednesday, and features serials and columns on hot topics in the baseball world, four-panel comics, and a reader survey section.
