Hiroko Otani is a Japanese manga artist. I am from Niikappu Town, Niikappu District, Hokkaido. She made her debut in the July 1973 issue of Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret, and in the early years was active in that magazine and its affiliated girls' magazines. From the 1980s onwards, she began writing for manga magazines aimed at married women, such as Akita Shoten's women's magazine, Futabasha's Jour Suteki na Shufutachi, and Shueisha's Young You.
