Began writing novels as a junior high school student from Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture. She was dumped 16 times by the boy she liked, so she decided to fulfill that love in a novel. Influenced by Banana Yoshimoto, Naocola Yamazaki, and Hiromi Kawakami, Chiren Kieru was known as a ``god'' as an amateur novelist.
