同年『罪火』を刊行。修復的司法という重厚なテーマに巧みなトリックを駆使した社会派ミステリを完成させ、逸材として注目を浴びる。2010年には広島MAZDA Zoom-Zoom スタジアム広島を舞台にした『確信犯』を刊行。強い覚悟のもと、裁判員制度以外にも弁護士増員問題など司法制度に鋭くメスを入れた。
2011年7月には『ボーダー』『共同正犯』を刊行。頭の中で考えるだけでなく実際に殺人を犯した無期懲役囚に取材するなどして重厚な作品を生み出している。

In 2009, he made his debut as a writer by winning both the 29th Seishi Yokomizo Mystery Grand Prize and the TV Tokyo Prize for ``Yuken''. It was a controversial piece with a message that questioned the foundations of the modern judicial system, with themes of the death penalty and false accusations.
In the same year, ``Sinbi'' was published. He has completed a social mystery using clever tricks on the serious theme of restorative justice, and has attracted attention as a talented talent. In 2010, he published ``Shinkan'', which is set in Hiroshima MAZDA Zoom-Zoom Stadium Hiroshima.
