宮下規久朗は、日本の美術史家、神戸大学大学院人文学研究科教授。専門はイタリア17世紀バロック美術ですが、近現代美術にも造詣が深い。
彼は愛知県名古屋市生まれ。東京大学文学部美術史学科卒業後、シエナ大学（イタリア）に留学し、兵庫県立近代美術館と東京都現代美術館で学芸員を務めた。その後、神戸大学文学部助教授、同大学院人文科学研究科准教授を経て、2013年から教授となる。
宮下規久朗は多くの著書を著し、第6回鹿島美術財団賞と第27回サントリー学芸賞を受賞。また、「ヴェネツィア・モディリアーニ」などの共著もある。

Kikuro Miyashita is a Japanese art historian and professor at Kobe University Graduate School of Humanities. His specialty is Italian 17th century Baroque art, but he also has a deep knowledge of modern and contemporary art.
He was born in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. After graduating from the Department of Art History, Faculty of Letters, University of Tokyo, he studied abroad at the University of Siena (Italy) and worked as a curator at the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Modern Art and the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Contemporary Art. After that, he served as an assistant professor at Kobe University's Faculty of Letters and an associate professor at the same Graduate School of Humanities, before becoming a professor in 2013.
Kikuro Miyashita has written many books and won the 6th Kashima Art Foundation Award and the 27th Suntory Academic Award. He has also co-authored books such as ``Venice Modigliani''.
