北浜健介は1975年に生まれ、神奈川県海老名市出身。佐伯昌優九段の門下としてプロになる。小学生の頃から将棋を覚え、奨励会で指し始めて、1994年にプロデビュー。当時は最年少であった。その後、順位戦B級1組に昇級すると、B級2組では苦戦していたが、2019年度に降級点を回避することに成功した。また、詰将棋作家としても知られており、中手数の制作を得意とする。短手数の「脳トレ○手詰」シリーズ監修者でもある。

**"The Shogi King of Fierce Battles"**
Kensuke Kitahama was born in 1975 in Ebina City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Became a professional student of Masayu Saeki 9th Dan. He learned to play shogi when he was in elementary school, started playing shogi at encouragement groups, and made his professional debut in 1994. He was the youngest at the time. After that, he was promoted to Class B Class 1, and although he struggled in Class B Class 2, he succeeded in avoiding demotion in 2019. He is also known as a tsume shogi artist, and is good at creating middle moves. He is also the supervisor of the ``Brain Training ○ Tips'' series.
