Daiki Agawa is a Japanese novelist, mystery writer, columnist, essayist, journalist, and composer. Lives in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture. After graduating from Tokyo Metropolitan Toyama High School, graduated from the Department of Basic Science, Faculty of Liberal Arts, University of Tokyo. While attending school, he founded the theater company ``Yume no Yuminsha'' and became a featured composer. After that, he worked at NEC as a computer engineer and semiconductor integrated circuit engineer. In 1987, he became head of ASCII's semiconductor integrated circuit division, and in 1990 he founded a venture company in the United States, but it was dissolved. After that, he became an aspiring novelist. In 1999, he won the 16th Suntory Mystery Award for Best Work for ``Angel's Drifting.''
