Itsuki Nagasawa is a Japanese novelist and mystery writer. Born in Niigata Prefecture. After working in information reporting at a video production company, he began writing novels and made his debut in 2011 with ``Disappearance Gradient'', which won the 31st Yokomizo Seishi Mystery Award.
He likes the Student Alice series, and says that ``Vanishing Gradient'' was influenced by ``Solitary Island Puzzle.'' There was a time when he also wrote light novels, and from that experience he seems to understand the importance of creating characters.
Representative works include Mayu Higuchi's ``Disappearance'' series, ``Musashino Underworld Seven'', and ``Metropolitan Police Department Inspection Special Investigation Team Doan Makoto Series''. There are also many individual short stories and light novels.
