柯隆 / Kelong
**Economist Kelong, who came to Japan to study capitalism**

An economist from the People's Republic of China. He holds a Master's degree (Economics) from Nagoya University. He has served as Chief Research Fellow at the Tokyo Foundation for Policy Research, Specially Appointed Professor at the University of Shizuoka's Global Regional Center, and Special Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Economics at Hiroshima University of Economics.
Biography
Born and raised in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, People's Republic of China. After graduating from Jinling Institute of Technology's Japanese Language Department in 1986, he studied at Aichi University's Faculty of Law and Economics before completing his Master's program at Nagoya University's Graduate School of Economics. From 1994, he worked at Fujitsu Research Institute, serving as Chief Research Fellow and Visiting Research Fellow at the Institute of International Economics.
At educational and research institutions, he served as a visiting professor at Zhejiang University (1999-2005) and a visiting researcher at Keio University's Institute for Global Security (2001-2005). Since 2012, he has served as a special visiting professor at Hiroshima University of Economics and a specially appointed professor at the University of Shizuoka's Global Regional Center.
Personal Life
He is fluent in Japanese and English, holding qualifications such as the Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 1 and certifications from the Cambridge Assessment English. In 2018, he was awarded the Junzo Kashiyama Prize.
