Rokusuke Ei is known as the lyricist for the pop song ``Ue o Muite Arukou,'' which was premiered by Kyu Sakamoto in July 1961 and became a hit all over the world. He has also written many books. ``Ojo'' became a huge bestseller, selling over 2 million copies.
