Keiichi Ara is a Japanese manga artist and illustrator. His most famous work is ``Nichijou'' (Nichijou), which won the Encouragement Award at the 22nd Ace Newcomer Manga Awards. Originally from Gunma Prefecture, I graduated from elementary school and junior high school, and then went on to high school. However, in the summer of his second year of junior high school, when he was suffering from pneumonia, he read Shinichi Hoshi's ``No Nozomi no Yusei'', which inspired him to aspire to become a manga artist.
