Monkey Punch (real name: Kazuhiko Kato) is a Japanese manga artist. Completed master's program at Tokyo Institute of Technology. He served as the representative of MP Studio Ltd. and the chairman of the Digital Manga Association. He also served as a professor in the Faculty of Humanities and as a visiting professor in the Faculty of Media Studies at Otemae University.
Monkey Punch actively incorporated computers into the production of manga, and founded the Digital Manga Association and served as its first president. His representative works include ``Lupin the Third'' and ``One Stay, One Meal'', and many of his works have been made into anime. He also trained the next generation as a professor in the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Media Studies at Otemae University.
