**Introduction**
Manga artist. His most famous work is ``Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Koen-mae Hashutsusho'' (commonly known as Kochikame), which ran for 40 years from 1976 to 2016 without a single hiatus. ``Kochikame'' won the grand prize twice and the 50th Shogakukan Manga Award Jury Special Award. As of 2021, he is currently active as the representative director of "Atelier B-Dama Limited Company".
