Graduated from Sanuma High School in Miyagi Prefecture and Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Tokyo Denki University. After graduating, he worked as a public junior high school mathematics teacher for eight years at Kesennuma Junior High School in Saitama Prefecture and Miyagi Prefecture.
