Katsuhisa Minami is a Japanese manga artist. Born in Kishiwada City, Osaka Prefecture. After graduating from junior high school, he worked at many jobs while aiming to become a manga artist, and made his debut in 1999 when he won the 41st Chiba Tetsuya Award runner-up for ``Naniwa Tomoare''. In 2000, the same title was serialized in Weekly Young Magazine. He began serializing ``The Fable'' in 2014, and won the 41st Kodansha Manga Award in the general category.
He has experience with the ring-shaped tribe, and is known for publishing a runner manga based on that experience. In particular, the S13 Silvia is the model for the main character's favorite car in Minami's famous work ``Naniwato Moare.'' Hiroshi Takahashi rates Minami as a genius.
