Manga artist. Graduated from Kyoto City Seiryo Junior High School, Kyoto City Dota Art and Crafts High School, and Osaka City Design Education Research Institute. Won the 14th MANGA OPEN Jury Award (Watase Seizou Award) for ``Jijijii'', which was brought to ``Morning''. Won the 15th MANGA OPEN Grand Prize for ``Gekidan JET'S''. In 2010, he won the 56th Shogakukan Manga Award in the general category for ``Space Brothers,'' and in 2011, he won the 35th Kodansha Manga Award in the general category.
