Takeaki Daimon is a Japanese novelist and mystery writer. Born and residing in Ise City, Mie Prefecture. Graduated from Ryukoku University, Faculty of Letters, Department of Philosophy, Major in Education.
In 2009, he made his debut as a writer by winning both the 29th Seishi Yokomizo Mystery Grand Prize and the TV Tokyo Prize for ``Yuken''. It was a controversial piece with a message that questioned the foundations of the modern judicial system, with themes of the death penalty and false accusations.
In the same year, ``Sinbi'' was published. He has completed a social mystery using clever tricks on the serious theme of restorative justice, and has attracted attention as a talented talent. In 2010, he published ``Shinkan'', which is set in Hiroshima MAZDA Zoom-Zoom Stadium Hiroshima. With strong determination, he made sharp changes to the judicial system, including not only the lay judge system but also the issue of increasing the number of lawyers.
