**Amago Soubei's talent lies in being "a writer who, out of a love for manga, delights both children and adults."**
Amago Soubei (born 1958) is a Japanese manga artist. Real name: Noriko Katane. She is female and her blood type is O. Born in Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture. Her mentor was Yumio Nawa.
Amago Soubei created her masterpiece, *Rakudai Ninja Rantaro*. This work was serialized twice a year for a limited period in the *Asahi Shogakusei Shinbun* until 2019 (she wrote continuously for six months and then took a break for the remaining six months). The origin of her pen name comes from "noisy Amagakko" (a child from Amagasaki), as she was born in Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture. This was a random decision she made because the deadline was approaching when she submitted her work to a shojo manga magazine. In the work, characters such as Yagyu Kintetsu and Yagyu Retsugo (Yagyu Let's Go), who evoke the Kintetsu Buffaloes, appear, but she herself is a fan of the Hanshin Tigers.
Q: What did this person do?
She became a manga artist because she loved history and wrote historical dramas.
Q: What is her famous work?
*Rakudai Ninja Rantaro*. This work has fans not only among elementary school students, but also young female readers and families spanning two generations.
