Amago Soubei created her masterpiece, *Rakudai Ninja Rantaro*. This work was serialized twice a year for a limited period in the *Asahi Shogakusei Shinbun* until 2019 (she wrote continuously for six months and then took a break for the remaining six months). The origin of her pen name comes from "noisy Amagakko" (a child from Amagasaki), as she was born in Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture. This was a random decision she made because the deadline was approaching when she submitted her work to a shojo manga magazine. In the work, characters such as Yagyu Kintetsu and Yagyu Retsugo (Yagyu Let's Go), who evoke the Kintetsu Buffaloes, appear, but she herself is a fan of the Hanshin Tigers.
