火坂雅志（ひさかまさし）は、日本の小説家で、1956年生まれ。1978年に早稲田大学商学部卒業後、編集者として活動し、1988年に小説デビュー。代表作は『天地人』で、第13回中山義秀文学賞を受賞した。NHK大河ドラマ原作となり、大きな成功を収めました。
戦国時代の参謀役に焦点を当てた作品が多いことで知られます。以心崇伝（徳川家康の参謀）、施薬院全宗（豊臣秀吉の参謀）、沢彦（織田信長の参謀）などの人物に注目しました。
また、明治時代のベストセラー作家村井弦斎を敬愛し、その研究を行いました。弦斎を主人公にした小説『美食探偵』を執筆したほか、弦斎の墓前祭「弦斎忌」の実行委員長も務めていました。
2015年2月26日、急性膵炎のため58歳で亡くなりました。火坂雅志は、戦国時代を知る新しい視点を生み出し、大河ドラマや小説など幅広い媒体に作品を残しました。

In addition to writing the novel ``Gourmet Detective,'' which features Gensai as the main character, he also served as the executive chairman of the ``Gensai Memorial Ceremony,'' a festival held in front of Gensai's grave.
